Fees

Our Approach to Fees

We are committed to providing a positive, quality, affordable soccer experience and are confident that the total cost to play Traveling Soccer at BV United is the best value in the south metro.

BV United is attempting to include as much as possible into the Fall and Summer Registration Fees, while providing the option to pay up front or over a series of payments.

The goal is to provide as much transparency as possible into the total cost of Traveling Soccer and to allow families options for budgeting/payment.  While we haven't completely eliminated Team Fees, the intent is for Registration Fees to cover the core costs, with Team Fees being used for supplemental activities. 

Specifics are included below.


After teams are posted, players and families will have 48 hours  to decline their place (by 11:59pm on July 29 or August 7).  Notification of declined placement must be IN WRITING to clubadmin@bvunited.org AND director@bvunited.org

An initial $100 payment will be charged to the credit card provided, and player registration will be processed for all players that do not decline placement. 

  • For the U9-U12 age groups, tryouts will be for fall 2022 season only, with new teams formed in January 2023 for Spring/Summer 2023 teams.
     
  • 2004s are U19 could be combined with 2005s at the U18/U19 level. Most leagues and tournaments combine U18 and U19.

Players who register after tryouts will be placed on a waitlist for review by our Directors.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Summer Season registration includes:

  • Over three months of soccer (April through early/mid-July) with a licensed, paid coach
  • Player development training using the BVU curriculum
  • League games (TCSL) against other clubs
  • Three tournaments (including the BVU Cup in June)
  • Fields (for training and games) and referees (for games)
  • TeamSnap for team management and communication
  • Insurance, league, and association (VAA/BAC) fees

In addition, Summer Season Registration for U11+ teams includes the following:

  • 11 weeks  of Winter Team Training (January through mid-March).  Training is 2x/week for the top team in each age group at U13+, and 1x/week for any other teams.  Summer registration must be submitted in order to participate.
  • Keeper Training for dedicated goalkeepers.  Summer registration must be submitted in order to participate.

WHAT'S EXTRA

For Summer Season, extra fees may be collected by the Team Manager for:

  • Additional indoor training space fees
  • Overnight travel (U13+ only)
  • Post-season play 
  • Additional tournaments
  • Referees and/or indoor space for scrimmages
  • End of season party

In addition, each player is responsible for :

  • $80 uniform kit - will be used through Fall 2025 season
  • $250 volunteer deposit, to be returned once volunteer hours are completed.
