BV United reserves the right to charge a volunteer fee in the amount of $100 per player, in addition to the registration fee.  The volunteer fee will be refunded when the volunteer hours are completed.  If the volunteer time is not completed, the fee will be forfeited and the funds will be used to hire paid workers to fulfill that parent’s work time.

The BV United Cup is the primary fundraising activity for the club.  Every family with a player in the Summer Traveling program is expected to volunteer during the course of the tournament.

 The tournament date is set in the Fall for the upcoming Summer.  Parents should note the dates on their calendar and attempt to avoid scheduling other activities, which could conflict with their volunteer obligation and potentially cause them to forfeit their volunteer fee.

Parents can also fulfill their volunteer time obligation by serving as a:

• Summer Season Manager (one per team) - fulfills the requirement for one player
• BVU Coordinator - fulfills the requirement for all players in your family.

All Summer Traveling families are required to purchase $50 of BVU Tournament raffle tickets per player participating in Summer Traveling Soccer.   Families then may choose to keep or sell these tickets.  

There are no exemptions.  All members including Board Members, Coordinators, Coaches, and Managers must participate.
