The Kick It Back program started as an effort by Tony Sanneh and MLS to collect soccer shoes and redistribute them to individuals in need. Since it’s inception in 2009, the program has expanded as an initiative of The Sanneh Foundation. It has evolved into a series of service learning driven partnerships with local schools and soccer clubs to collect gently used soccer and athletic gear for local and international redistribution. In 2015, TSF redistributed $25,000 worth of equipment domestically and internationally, allowing beneficiaries to safely participate in sports.
